By using the Tansy app or this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
Tansy grades products and meals against the skin profile you describe, and a check-in records observations about your own skin over time. Grades and observations are informational. They are not a diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice, and they are not a substitute for a dermatologist or other clinician. If you have a medical concern about your skin, see a professional.
Grades come from a published rubric applied to ingredient lists and nutritional estimates. They are our best honest read of the available data against your profile, and the data can be incomplete or wrong. A grade is a starting point for your own judgment, not a guarantee that a product or food will or will not affect your skin.
If you join the waitlist on this site, we use your email to tell you when Tansy launches. Details are in the Privacy Policy. You can leave the list any time by emailing us.
When the app launches, subscriptions will be offered and billed through Apple's App Store. Pricing, trials, renewal, and cancellation will be shown in the app before you pay, and managed through your Apple account.
Product recommendations may include retailer links that pay us a commission at no cost to you. Grades and recommendations are computed from the ingredient rubric alone and are never influenced by commissions.
Your photos, logs, and profile stay yours. Face photos never leave your device. We claim no rights over anything you create in the app.
The app, this site, and their content are ours or our licensors'. Product data comes from Open Beauty Facts under the Open Database License. Don't copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the app.
Don't misuse the app or site: no breaking, probing, or overloading them, and no using them to break the law.
Tansy is provided as-is. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or site, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so in the app or on this site before it takes effect. Using Tansy after a change means you accept the updated terms.
