Tansy is built local-first. Your skin profile, your logs, and your photos live on your device. There are no accounts, and we do not sell data. We have no data to sell.
Weekly check-in photos are stored only on your device, are viewable only by you inside the app, and can be individually deleted at any time. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else. If a future version ever needs to transmit a photo for analysis, it will be transient, for that analysis only, and this policy will be updated before that version ships, not after.
Your answers, scans, meals, diary entries, and check-in observations are stored on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.
If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you give us and use it for one thing: telling you when Tansy launches. The form is processed by our form provider on our behalf. We do not share the list with anyone else, and you can leave it any time by emailing us.
Tansy does not collect analytics. There is no tracking library, no advertising identifier, and no usage data leaving your device. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated before the version that changes it ships.
If product recommendations ever include retailer links, they may be affiliate links, which pay us a commission at no cost to you. Grades and recommendations are computed from the ingredient rubric alone and are never influenced by commissions. A product cannot buy its grade.
Tansy is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
